Bacchus

DOG PROFILE: BACCHUS AT THE BELL INN

Name: Bacchus

Breed: Rhodesian Ridgeback

Age: 23 months – still a puppy but a big puppy!

Home: The Bell Inn, Selsey

Preferred treats: A beef marrow bone form our fantastic butcher – Country Quality Meats in Nailsworth.

Special trick: Not so much a trick but I am very good at being handsome. People stop in their tracks and always comment on my good looks.

What I love the most: I am very sociable and while I am often the centre of attention I love meeting new dogs and their owners.

What I do all day: After a lovely run around Selsey common I spend most of the day fast asleep dreaming of my evening dinner!

Why I love my home: I have a warm fire to lay by and can “chew the facts” in the daily papers.

Why should humans come to visit: If like me they love their food then this is the perfect place. Michelin listed and 2 AA Rosette food can be enjoyed in a relaxing atmosphere. The food and drinks on offer showcase the best of local produce. Gin lovers will also love the fact that we serve 57 gins by the glass!

Why should doggies come to visit: Excellent views and great walks that always start and finish at the pub. A bottomless pit of dog treats available at the bar, free of charge, all year round.
