Hi Chris, Could you tell us a little about Short Legs?
Short Legs is based in Cheltenham and works with wedding venues, in the county of Gloucestershire and beyond, to help couples take their four-legged friends along to their big day. Having been a dog-lover and owner all my life and having worked in the hospitality and wedding industry I saw a gap in the market so set up Short Legs in order to help people share their special day with every member of the family and their best friend.
What made you want to focus on weddings?
Being one of the most important days in the life of the Bride and Groom good customer service is vital. I provide this by ensuring I carry out the wishes of the couple to the letter and never get in the way. Every Wedding is a one-off so I rely on reputation and recommendations to get future bookings without great customer service this just won't happen.
What services do you offer?
I offer a dedicated handling and care package for the wedding couple's dog(s). This can be as little or as much as is required including chaperone down the aisle, photographs, walking during the Wedding Breakfast. I am also happy to sit with the dog (s) at the accommodation, for the evening, or return them to a friend/dog carer or relative.
