DOG WALKING SUNDAY AT THE HALFWAY HOUSE

The Half Way House is a 17th Century Inn in the quintessential Cotswold hamlet of Kineton, halfway between Temple Guiting and Guiting Power. The pub serves quality homemade cooked food, offering a welcome break to travellers as well as locals.

For the past three years the pub has organised a Dog Walking Sunday event on the first Sunday of each month. The event raises money for Walking with the Wounded, a charity that supports our wounded war heroes. The cost to participate in the event is only £15.95 (with £1 being donated to the charity), and this includes:

10am: Arrive at The Halfway House for tea or coffee and a bacon roll

10:30am: Depart The Halfway House for the walk around the local area

12pm: Return to The Halfway House for a roast lunch

The event has proved extremely popular in the past with groups of up to 40 dogs and some visitors travelling from as far as London and Leicester to attend. The pack is led by Sheila, a local resident, who is the guide for the walk.

Call 01451 850344 to book or just arrive at the pub at 10.30am for your bacon roll and coffee before the walk.
