Pooches stay for free as long as owners can pay for themselves! Rofield Barn is situated in Gloucestershire’s Severn Vale, set amongst the spectacular sight of acres upon acres of unspoilt Cotswold countryside. The self catering holiday home is close to many dog friendly pubs in the area, so you aren’t limited where you can go if you do fancy dining out. It’s the perfect place to stay if your four legged friend is an enthusiastic explorer, there is a wetland reserve close by, the River Severn less than a mile away and lots of farmland to traverse!
Rose Cottage - Stow-On-The-Wold
Rose Cottage in Stow On The Wold is situated on Well Lane, one end of which is close to the town centre, while the other end narrows and leads to a still unspoiled well dating back to Roman Times. Lots of dog-walkers stop here for a rest before going onto a horse trough and eventually, for serious walkers, a footpath leading to Broadwell. Stow on the Wold has many dog-friendly establishments and places to walk dogs.
Rose Cottage itself has a good sized and fully enclosed lawn to the front. Pets can be kept away from the pond with an expandable fence. To the rear there is a very small garden with high walls accessible only via a door in the utility room which can be left open for pets while owners/staff are out having a drink or meal in one of the many pubs and restaurants within walking distance.

Luxury In The Cotswolds - Great Tew
At this lovely cottage in Great Tew they do all the simple things right and throw in tempting extras! Visitors are provided with dog leads, dog bowls and clean up bags just in case our dog guests forget to pack theirs. A real clincher for your furry friend though is that they will be treated to organic home-made peanut butter biscuits, after all the humans get cake!
Lemon Tree Cottage - Broadway
The beautiful Lemon Tree Cottage in picture book Cotswold village Broadway is run by dog owners so they know all about looking after four legged friends. All dogs get complimentary treats on arrival and the additional dog fee is kept to just £10. Visitors to the cottage also receive a FAQ sheet that details dog friendly ideas in the area too.
